Why?
원소는 물질을 이루는 기본 성분으로써, 고유의 기호를 가지고 있으며 금속원소는 불꽃 반응색을 가지고 있다. 구리-청록색, 리튬-빨간색, 나트륨-노란색, 칼륨-보라색 등 원소마다 다른 불꽃 반응색을 보인다. 우리 실생활에 활용되는 불꽃놀이에 이 원리가 적용되고 있다.
Elements, the basic components of matter, each have their own symbol and metallic elements each have a different flame reaction color. Elements show different flame reaction colors, such as copper-turquoise, lithium-red, sodium-yellow and potassium-purple. This principle is applied to fireworks used in our real life.
